At risk, besieged on all sides, this may be just the most realistic portrayal what Microsoft Kin series cell phones experience. According to foreign media, just leaked a rumor pointed out that Microsoft has started sales Kin One and Kin Two the two products through Verizon since May, so far the total sales only about 500 or so. If this rumor is true, we can only say that Kin One and Kin Two sales is very low.
This message is revealed by the foreign SAI Web site, but the sources did not provide more details, but hinted that so far the average sales of a single store of the Verizon physical distribution network complete less than 1 unit. Yet on the Verizon side now didn’t give comment about “story”, but as usual did not give Kin One and Kin Two the two products, the actual sales data.
Although this message appears in the outside world after speculation Kin Two and Kin One two products will soon cut prices, but so far Kin One and Kin Two temporary price cuts have not yet started, but both Microsoft’s side or operators on Verizon remain silent about Kin series phone’s performance .
For non-public level, Kin series phones lack of intelligence operating system, but are still insist on smart phone-level course fees, presumably this may one of the most important factor influence consumers to buy, and further drive consumer to invest in Motorola Droid and other similar price smart phones, because these smart phones are often more powerful than Microsoft’s Kin products. At present most of Verizon’s share has relied on the Android series production. As for the Microsoft side, Kin series certainly is not the absolute focus of products, because around the end of this year, Microsoft will mainly promote Windows Phone 7 platform smartphones.
